Early Lily Speak / Premiers 'Mots' de Lily

Lily has become very chatty in recent days practising the different sounds she can make. A big favourite is 'aaaareuuu' which to her somewhat gaga Mummy sounds like 'heureux' (with a deliberate grammatical error i.e. not 'heureuse' as she is half English...

For a week or so now Lily has started enjoying grabbing objects. A favourite activity is playing with her arch and grabbing the hanging toys or moving the wooden shapes on the sides backwards and forwards. Depuis environ une semaine Lily aime bien attraper...

Tummy-time has not been a favourite past-time for Lily until today. She even lifted her head up really high in her excitement -- well done, Lily! It must have been due to the cute musical teddy that her Auntie Jude and Uncle Dean gave her for Easter....

First Holiday - Off Skiing / Premieres Vacances - On Va au Ski

At 8 weeks old Lily is off tomorrow for her first hols to Valmorel in the Alps with Gran and Grandad Auffret. Mummy was given the all clear by her doctor so she may get in a couple of half days of skiing too (with the help of Gran and the breast pump!)....
