Trip to London / Sejour a Londres

Lily visited London for the first time this weekend as we went to celebrate my cousin Kathryn's wedding. The Eurostar was a big hit -- I guess not surprising after all the trips she did when a bump. We were very kindly hosted by my friend Constance and her family in Clapham who had the dubious honour of being Lily's first non-family babysitters while we partied. All went really well despite my silly worrying to the contrary! On Sunday our friends Mel and Dan organised a fabulous lunch for lots of my friends from Brasenose to meet Lily. She was especially happy to meet her Godmother Isobel (and her bump) plus my friend Kate's son Monty who is 5 days older than Lily and is gorgeous.

L'eurostar a bien plu a Lily -- je suppose que cela n'est pas surprenant vu tous les trajets qu'elle a fait quand j'etais enceinte. Ma copine Constance et sa famille nous a gentillement loge chez eux a Clapham. Ils ont eu l'honneur dubieux d'etre les premiers babysitters non familiaux pendant qu'on etait a la fete. Tout s'est super bien passe malgre mes inquietudes bien inutiles! Dimanche nos amis Mel et Dan ont organise un dejeuner magnifique pour mes amis d'Oxford de rencontrer Lily. Elle etait particulierement contente de recontrer sa marraine Isobel (et son petit bidon) et le fils de ma copine Kate, Monty, qui a 5 jours de plus que Lily et qui est adorable.
