Thom Convulsions

Our first evening back from Center Parc was spent at Necker, the children's hospital as Thom woke convulsing with fever around 9:30pm. Still very scary even though we were at least familiar with it from 4 months ago when he had his first episode. The convulsions lasted less than 10 minutes and after a thorough examination by a doctor Mummy and Thom came home around midnight and we slept in the same room just to be sure. No obvious reason for his fever that seemed to come out of nowhere but we'll be dosing his up on Calpol and keeping an eye out for any other symptoms. He was full of mischief this morning so hopefully a sign the worst is behind him.

Nous avons passé notre premier soir à la maison après Center Parcs à Necker, l'hopital pédiatrique car Thom s'est reveillé vers 21h30 avec des convulsions et de la fièvre. Toujours aussi inquiétant mais au moins on était préparés depuis son premier épisode il y'a 4 mois. Les convulsions ont duré moins de 10 minutes et après un examination par un medecin Mummy et Thom sont rentré vers minuit et nous avons dormi dans la meme chambre au cas ou. Pas de raison evidente pour la fièvre qui est venue de nulle part mais on lui donnera de Doliprane et restera vigilants pour d'autres symptomes. Il était bien coquin ce matin alors normalement une bonne signe que le pire est passé.
